(and it had the head cover on it too!) They weren't shipped in a separate box. The second set was also shipped without another box but the clubs were perfect and my grandson loves them. I would give them 5 stars if they were shipped better. (first set came by FedEx, the second set was by UPS)  The clubs are well constructed and sturdy.
