They have been through 4 trips to the range, as well as 4 rounds at the course. Overall I have been really happy with them, and considering the price, I think the value is great.I have probably been golfing over 100 times, but definitely still consider myself a beginner. As a result, I wanted to find some inexpensive clubs that offered forgiveness, and that is why I chose this set. I have found the hybrid club to be one of my favorites in the bag. It gives me some good distance, and I don't feel I lose any accuracy compared to the irons. I have also been pleasantly surprised with the success I have had hitting the driver and 3 wood. One negative is that during a recent trip to the range, my 5 iron broke during a "fat" swing. That was obviously disappointing, but not totally unexpected with the price of the set. I didnt buy these to be top of the line clubs. I bought these because they were name brand and reasonably priced. I have taken them to the driving range and played a round with them and I am hitting better with these clubs than I was with my previous clubs. So I definitely encourage someone who needs some intermediate clubs to order these! They look sharp and feel really really good. I have played a couple times a year for about 15 years so have never had a need to purchase new clubs. That being said my old clubs were poor quality and old technology. These clubs are fantastic for someone who is still very inexperienced but plans to put some time and attention to the hobby. They are not e xpensive and are not the best clubs you can find but they are forgiving and play well considering the price point. I would suggest these clubs to a newer player who has caught the golfing bug and are ready to invest a little bit in their game. |
